NALS 6th Annual Volunteer Week

In the spirit of giving and community engagement, NALS Apartment Homes proudly reflects on the impactful Volunteer Week that unfolded throughout November 2023. During this time, NALS offices nationwide temporarily closed their doors as all team members participated in diverse volunteer projects spanning across the entire NALS portfolio. This initiative not only fostered team building but also exposed our dedicated employees to new and meaningful causes, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.
 

The HQ Office had the honor of volunteering at PATH Santa Barbara, an interim housing facility that not only provides safe living spaces but also offers a range of essential services, including employment assistance and rapid rehousing. Team members spent the day preparing food, dishing out plates for the lunch service, and assembling hygiene kits to be given out to those in need.

As the NALS Volunteer Week came to an end, heartfelt stories and shared experiences reverberated within the walls of each office. The impact of this collective effort extended beyond the immediate communities served, touching the lives of NALS team members in positive ways. Many employees expressed gratitude for the opportunity to step outside their daily routines and contribute to causes that resonated deeply with them. Bonds created during volunteer activities have transcended the workplace, creating a lasting sense of unity and shared purpose among colleagues. We are inspired by the ongoing collaboration and community engagement, and we look forward to remaining committed to fostering connections in our communities, creating positive change, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
