Management Team

Mr. Nevins has spent the last 34 years acquiring and renovating multifamily properties. He has been a Partner of NALS Apartment Homes and its previous iterations since 1984. To date, he has been the managing Partner in every one of the company's 101 Real Estate partnerships, including 99 in multifamily. Mr. Nevins has an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles and a BA in History from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Mr. Lewbel has been involved in real estate since 1984 and joined NALS Apartment Homes in 1987. He is a Partner and the President of NALS, overseeing the daily operations and management of the company. Mr. Lewbel has extensive experience in large multifamily community operations, marketing, maintenance, and management. During his tenure, he has overseen the management of over 101 different multifamily communities in more than 26 cities throughout the United States. Mr. Lewbel has a BS in Marketing from California State University, Northridge and holds a Real Estate Broker License in the state of California.

Mike Schell joined NALS Apartment Homes as a partner in 1998 and is a general partner and a manager of every partnership created since his arrival at NALS. In addition to contributing to the overall strategic direction of NALS, Mr. Schell leads the company’s acquisition, disposition and financing efforts. Mr. Schell began his career in real estate in 1991 when he joined CBRE as an investment sales professional specializing in multifamily in the San Diego and Phoenix offices. Mr. Schell has a BA in Finance from Arizona State University and holds a real estate brokers license in the state of Arizona. Mr. Schell is happily married and has 3 children. In his spare time he enjoys fitness related activities of hiking, cycling and Crossfit. Mr. Schell also serves as chairman of the board of MissionOne. Mr Schell divides his time between Santa Barbara, CA and Scottsdale AZ.

Mr. Brennan has been with NALS Apartment Homes since 2011, serving as Partner and CFO. Prior to joining NALS, Mr. Brennan was CFO of a $1 billion division of General Electric (GE) Healthcare. Over his 10 years with GE, Mr. Brennan held a variety of global leadership roles building and managing commercial, R&D, and supply chain businesses for GE. Mr. Brennan also served as a senior internal auditor for GE Corporate. Mr. Brennan is a graduate of GE’s corporate management training program and received his BS in Finance from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Mr. Adams has been actively involved in the acquisition and management of real estate for 48 years. A Partner with NALS Apartment Homes since 1990, Mr. Adams now serves in an advisory role as Partner Emeritus. Mr. Adams is a member of the Board of Directors of Mortgage Oil Corporation and Cary Products Company Incorporated. He has a BA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Southern California.
