In July, NALS opened the 2018 Summer Photo Contest for submissions. The Grand Prize? A Month of Free Rent! Here are the instructions we gave to our residents: <\/p>\n

Contest Description<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nThe “I Love my Community” Summer Photo Contest is a photography contest dedicated to
\ncelebrating what residents love about where they live. Subjects may include people, places, and\/or things found in their apartment, their apartment community, or the local neighborhood. The contest is intended to highlight unique perspectives on “community,” as well as residents’ artistic and technical skill (plus, giving away free stuff is fun)!<\/em>
\n
\nWe received entries from across the nation, with residents sharing their favorite places, people, and activities in their community. The judges were not only impressed with the high quality of submissions, but also the creativity and sheer joy shared in the photos. We would like to thank everyone who participated with entries, votes, and words of encouragement for their neighbors. We had so much fun and we hope you did, too! It was a wonderful celebration of community. <\/p>\n
