Scottsdale, AZ— Team members recently convened at the Talking Stick Resort located in Scottsdale, AZ for the NALS Maintenance Conference. Led by our Director of Maintenance, Mark Ismond, team members enjoyed new training, education, and an opportunity to celebrate successes over the past year.  NALS values training and development as a continuous priority to provide exceptional service to residents and for our employees’ professional and personal growth.<\/p>\n

NALS Partners, District Managers, HQ team members, and 40 Maintenance Supervisors gathered for a productive week reviewing policy updates, improved leak and mold detection with thermal imaging cameras, and work order tips and tricks to help streamline maintenance requests and improve efficiency. The Reserve on Cave Creek Apartments<\/a>, a nearby NALS property located in North Phoenix, was the ideal location to host a hands-on training workshop where our staff toured the community and applied their new knowledge with practical experience. Our team also enjoyed some free time competing in a game of Topgolf and attended a Spring Training baseball game where the Cleveland Indians beat out the Colorado Rockies by a score of 5-3.<\/p>\n

A ceremony to honor some of our stand-out maintenance team members for their dedication, leadership and quality of work at their communities served as a reminder of the exceptional service we strive to offer to all residents. This year, the top recognitions were awarded to:<\/p>\n

• Award of Excellence:<\/b> Miguel M., Maintenance Supervisor at Ladera Vista Apartments<\/a>, an upscale 127-unit community in Albuquerque, NM<\/li>\n
• Achievement Award:<\/b> Jonathon L., Maintenance Supervisor at The Park at Mill Plain Apartments<\/a>, a 352-unit garden-style community just outside of Portland in Vancouver, WA<\/li>\n
• Rookie of the Year:<\/b> Ramon T., Maintenance Supervisor at Echo Apartments<\/a>, a 200-unit midrise community in the heart of Dallas, TX<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Congratulations again to our award recipients! We appreciate all the hard work from our maintenance staff and look forward to another successful year in providing an easy living experience to our residents!
